Rachel Akmakjian is the Director of Jeweler Relations at BriteCo and a Graduate Gemologist from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). She has more than a decade of experience spanning jewelry retail, marketing, diamond wholesale, and custom jewelry design. At BriteCo, she brings that experience to her work with jewelers and to the guidance she shares with jewelry buyers.
In 2025, Rachel was elected president of the Chicago chapter of the Women’s Jewelry Association. She has discussed engagement jewelry and insurance on WGN-TV.
