Drawing on aggregated, de-identified insights from hundreds of thousands of jewelry appraisals submitted through our network of 4,000+ independent retail jeweler partners, BriteCo is a leader in jewelry purchasing behavior and trend research. Analyzing aggregated appraisal data since 2020 provides BriteCo with unprecedented insights into evolving trends in new jewelry sales. These insights are provided to industry publications and the public through periodic online reports that summarize, interpret, and explain trends based on actual purchase behavior.

Survey Methodology

In addition, BriteCo occasionally conducts surveys with special populations, such as consumers who own jewelry, independent retail jewelers, property and casualty insurance agents, wedding/event venue owners and wedding planners. BriteCo follows best practices to guide survey sample size and analysis to help ensure accurate insights from general audience participants and subgroups within the population.

While our database captures detailed, item-level specifications for each appraised piece of jewelry, all personally identifiable information (PII) is strictly stripped and anonymized prior to any analysis. No PII is ever used, viewed, or shared in the creation of our reports, ensuring full compliance with best practices in consumer data privacy.
