Referral Program Terms and Conditions

The BriteCo Customer Referral Program (the “Program”) provides an opportunity for individuals to refer (“Referrer”) an interested person for Qualified Coverage (“Referee”) to BriteCo. To participate in the Program, both the Referrer and the Referee must agree to these Terms and Conditions and to BriteCo’s Website Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

Definitions

For purposes of these Terms and Conditions:

• Referral Reward means a $20.00 electronic merchant gift card that BriteCo will send a Referrer within 28 days of BriteCo receiving an application from a Referee for Qualified Coverage.
  
• Qualified Coverage means Jewelry & Watch Insurance Coverage.
  
• Qualified Referral means the referral of a Referee by a Referrer that submits an application with all information necessary for BriteCo to process a Referee’s application for Qualified Coverage. The information necessary for BriteCo to process an application for Qualified Coverage shall be determined in BriteCo’s sole discretion.

Eligible States

The Program is only available in following states: Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, the District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin and Wyoming (collectively, “Eligible States”).

Eligibility

In order to participate in the Program, each Referrer will utilize a unique Program referral link in order for BriteCo to associate a Qualified Referral with a Referrer. Neither participation in the Program nor the payment of a Referral Reward shall depend on whether a Referee purchases insurance or the volume of insurance purchased by the Referee. Any director, officer, agent, employee, or affiliate, which includes parent companies, subsidiaries, divisions, and advertising and promotional agencies, of BriteCo, and their immediate family members, are not permitted to participate in the Program. Participation in the Program is only available to Referrers and Referees over the age of 18 and that are legal residents of Eligible States.

A Referrer may only receive one Qualified Referral for each Referee and the Referrer and Referee shall not be the same person. Only the owner of the unique Program referral link shall receive a Referral Reward. Referrers and/or Referees must provide a valid email address, which shall be subject to verification and/or validation. Any fraudulent or deceptive participation in the Program including, but not limited to, using multiple and/or different email addresses and/or other forms of communication with BriteCo is prohibited and any Referral Reward(s) will be voided. In its sole discretion, and at any time, BriteCo may subject participants in the Program to identity verification and/or fraud preventions measures. If BriteCo, at any time, and in its sole discretion, suspects any participant in the Program of engaging in any fraudulent or deceptive activities or BriteCo is unable to verify the email address of a participant in the Program, BriteCo may determine that such individual is not eligible for participation in the Program.

By participating in the Program, both Referrers and Referees agree not to:

• Engage in any discussions regarding the terms of insurance, including, but not limited to, the sale, solicitation, or negotiation of insurance;
• Provide any false, misleading, or inaccurate information on an application for insurance coverage or complete an application for insurance coverage with no intention or no legitimate purpose to purchase the same;
• Represent that you are affiliated with, an agent of, or otherwise represent BriteCo;
• Advertise or participate in the advertising of BiteCo’s intellectual property; or
• Engage in any activity that may be considered fraudulent, illegal, or invasive, including, but not limited to, spamming.

Referral Rewards

Referral Rewards received by a Referrer shall not exceed the value of $100.00 in any given twelve-month period. Referral Rewards shall not be in cash, currency, bills, coins, check, or by ‎money order.‎ A Referrer shall be notified via email should a Referral Reward be granted. Referrers are responsible for any and all tax liability resulting in the issuance of a Referral Reward.  Referral Rewards are administered by a third party and a Referrer shall consent to sharing his or her information with such third party for purposes of claiming a Referral Reward. Other restrictions may apply.

No Relationship Formed

Participation in the Program shall not create an employment relationship, independent contractor relationship, agency, joint venture, or any other type of relationship between BriteCo and either a Referrer or a Referee.

Termination or Modification of the Program

In its sole discretion, and at any time, BriteCo may terminate, suspend, or modify the Program. BriteCo reserves the right to discontinue use of the Program of any Referrer or Referee that it suspects to have engaged in any fraudulent and/or deceptive activity, is in breach of these Terms and Conditions, or is in beach of BriteCo’s Website Terms of Use or Privacy Policy.

Modification of these Terms and Conditions

In its sole discretion, and at any time, BriteCo may change any and all provisions of these Terms and Conditions without prior notice or reason by posting updated terms and conditions to BriteCo’s website and such change shall be effective on the date of posting. A Referrer and Referee’s continued participation in the Program after any changes to these Terms and Conditions shall constitute acceptance of the same.
